The Australian Fan Palm is one of Australia's most beautiful native palms. It originates from the North Queensland Rainforests, from north of Townsville to Cape York. The Australian Fan Palm has very large round fan leaves and is best grown in a shady spot. Leaves will be greener in deeper shade but does need some light to grow. As the Aussie Fan Palm grows taller it will, in its natural habitat, receive more sun and will handle full sun when it outgrows the other trees.
