Rogo Congo - Beautiful Philodendron for indoor positions or shady spot outdoors. Rogo Congo has beautiful bronzy red hues to the foliage. Grows to around 90cm tall and can be grown up a totem pole to achieve extra height and for support. Water well during growing season, less in winter. Feed twice a year in spring and mid summer. Aloe Vera Barbadensis var. "Vera" Sweet - Yellow flower. There are hundreds of varieties of aloe. We have sourced the popular yellow flowered aloe vera. (We also stock the standard Aloe Vera Barbadensis (orange flower).
This is a wonderful little groundcover from South Africa. It has succulent, thick green leaves which are covered in Leopard spots. The spots are a dark green to almost black, and the colour tends to be enhanced (e.g. darker spots on the foliage) in a shady spot and over winter.
Alpinia arundelliana - Wavy Leaf Ginger. Beautiful Native Ginger, well suited as an understorey or shaded / semi shaded postition in the garden. This very hardy, compact Ginger will grow to around 1m tall and produces lovely pink flowers and blue berries in mid to late Summer.
Lady Palms - Rhaphis Excelsa, are very elegant, graceful multi stemmed palms, which grow to 3-4m tall. They have deep green, glossy leaves. String of Bananas - Senecio radicans - String of bananas is an easy to grow, perennial succulent. With its branching habit is looks amazing in a hanging basket and will also form a thick ground covering mat if coiled onto the soil surface. The Australian Fan Palm is one of Australia's most beautiful native palms. It originates from the North Queensland Rainforests, from north of Townsville to Cape York. The Australian Fan Palm has very large round fan leaves and is best grown in a shady spot. Leaves will be greener in deeper shade but does need some light to grow. As the Aussie Fan Palm grows taller it will, in its natural habitat, receive more sun and will handle full sun when it outgrows the other trees.
