Lady Slipper - Euphorbia tithymaloides Pedilanthus

Lady slipper is a stunning succulent from the Euphorbia family, growing up to 2m tall (a bit smaller in cool climates).

It is an extremely hardy plant, being frost hardy to -5, and having amazing drought tolerance properties due to storage of water in the fleshy stems.

The stems grow in a zig-zag pattern and are covered in flowers most of the year. Flowers are shades of red, pink and orange and are bird-attracting.

The Lady Slipper will grow well in full sun or part shade. The green tends to look better in part shade, but the plant flowers better in full sun. It does well in gardens and pots.

Common names: Lady’s slipper, Slipper Plant

Plants Available:  Cuttings approx 20cm x 3 - roots easily - fresh cuttings - allow ends to callous over before planting.
