Agapanthus Orientalis Blue is a stunning garden plant which originates in South Africa. It has beautiful bright green, slim leaves and a tall flower stalk. Flowers are pendulous and light blue and are borne in a cluster on top of the flower stalk, providing a wonderful display of colour.

Agapanthus Orientalis Blue is best grown in well draining soil, in the garden or pots.
Soil should prferably be well draining and sandy but they will tolerate a wide range of soil types.
Fertilise regularly with a slow release fertiliser. Best flowering is achieved when it is pot bound – this is an excellent container plant!
This Agapanthus is very easy to care for. It is frost hardy to several degrees, and also drought hardy. It needs protection from severe frosts, or prolonged frost.
Grows to 1.2m and width of 0.6m and enjoys full sun to part shade, low maintainence and a beautiful addition to a cottage garden.
