A very cute and curly version of the classic "Spider Plant".
Native to tropical and southern Africa, this varigated strappy plant looks gorgeous and is the perfect houseplant! Beautiful, tough and easy to care for, it is best suited to a table centre piece or in a hanging basket (macrame optional). It is also great to hang in the office and is said to help "clean the air" of impurities. It is called a spider plant because of the way it shoots off long stems with "spider-like" pups that can become new plants!
Growing Spider Plant - Chlorophytum comosum
These guys are great for bathrooms or bedrooms, they don't need alot of light and do best in a shady spot or indoors. Plant them up in a free draining potting mix, they aren't too fussy, but they don't like wet feet! They grow best between 18-32C but will tolerate temps down to 2C. Use distilled water or rain water to water them, as they can get brown tips from mineral buildup in tap water.
Versatile, classic houseplant for your growing collection :)
