Madagascar Jasmine (Stephanotis floribunda)
Madagascar Jasmine is a climbing plant native to Asia, Africa & Madagascar. It is truly magic with its gorgeous trusses of strong white flowers; flowers which are soooo fragrant: you can smell them without being anywhere near the plant!
Leaves are beautiful succulent glossy green, and this plant is considered a cousin to the well-known Hoya and like the Hoya the flowers are very robust. Best to let this plant climb on a frame, a trellis, a fence or something similar, in full sun. Grows well in most of Australia, but best kept warm. Wil grow nicely down south in a glass house/conservatory or against a warm wall.
Stephanotis floribunda will grow strongly in the right position and easy cover a fence, arch, frame or trellis.
